1. Who you are dealing with

This website is operated by The Private Chef Marrakech, the private chef service of Chef Rachid Ahram, based in Marrakesh, Morocco. Using the site means accepting the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What this website is

It describes a private chef service and invites you to enquire about it. The descriptions of experiences, the sample menus and the photographs are illustrative of the kind of work the chef does.

Menus depend on the season, on what the market has that morning, and on what suits your occasion. Nothing shown here is a fixed menu you are ordering from, and no price is quoted on this site.

3. Enquiries are not bookings

Sending the form starts a conversation. It does not reserve a date, and it does not create a contract.

A booking exists only once the chef has confirmed it to you directly and the specific terms of that event - date, location, guest numbers, menu, price, deposit, and what happens if either side needs to cancel or reschedule - have been agreed in writing between you. Those terms govern the event. This page does not attempt to set them.

4. Allergies and dietary requirements

Tell the chef about every allergy, intolerance and dietary requirement in the guest party while the menu is being planned, and again if anything changes before the date. A kitchen handles many ingredients, and a requirement disclosed too late may not be something a menu can safely accommodate.

5. Using the site

Please use it for what it is for.

• Do not use the enquiry form to send unsolicited advertising, abusive content, or anything unlawful.
• Do not attempt to disrupt the site, gain access to parts of it that are not public, or extract its content by automated means.
• Do not copy the photographs or text for your own commercial use - see the next section.

6. Ownership of the content

The photographs, video, written copy, logo and design of this site belong to The Private Chef Marrakech or are used with permission. They are protected by copyright.

You are welcome to view the site, and to link to it. You may not reproduce, republish or use its photographs or text commercially without written permission. Where people appear in a photograph, their image is theirs and is used here with their agreement.

7. Links to other sites

The site links to Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms and their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for what happens once you leave this site.

8. What is and is not promised

The information on this site is offered in good faith and kept accurate as far as is reasonable, but it is provided as it is, without a warranty that it is complete, current or uninterrupted. The site may be unavailable at times for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this website itself. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded - and nothing here affects the rights you have as a consumer under the law that applies to you.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Moroccan law, and the courts of Marrakesh have jurisdiction over disputes about them. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the service changes. The version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies, and the date at the top tells you when it last changed.
